Software Project Manager


  • 2+ years of experience in software project management,
  • Experience in multi-account management is a plus,
  • Digital commerce knowhow and basic understanding of key performance metrics,
  • Good command of software development life cycle,
  • Experience working with and implementing project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban),
  • Demonstrated experience in relationship management including internal teams, clients, third parties, upper management
  • Familiarity with project management tools/software (Jira, Confluence)
  • Familiarity with database and operating systems is a plus (MSSQL)

Job Description:

The role of the Project Manager is to plan, execute, and finalize software projects according to deadlines and within budget. This includes:

  • Meeting the clients (kick off), understanding their needs, defining the scope and the objectives of the project,
  • Estimating and planning resources, coordinating the efforts of team members and third party contractors or consultants,
  • Developing full-scale project plans including timelines and milestones using appropriate tools (Jira),
  • Effectively communicating project expectations, project progress to team members and all parties included,
  • Identifying, prioritizing potential risks to project delivery and planning risk responses,
  • Identifying and resolving issues and conflicts among related parties,
  • Proactively managing changes in project scope, resource and timeline,
  • Tracking project milestones and deliverables, and communicating with related parties on an ongoing basis,
  • Responsibility for on-time project delivery & project profitability; drafting and submitting budget proposals, and recommend budget changes where necessary,
  • Developing and delivering progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations,
  • Overseeing the quality control throughout its life cycle, responsible for UAT testing,
  • Coaching, mentoring, motivating and supervising project team members and influencing them to take positive action for their assigned work,
